Avaliação de um jogo digital com treino de memória de trabalho para alfabetização em crianças no ensino fundamental

Este estudo avaliou crianças em um ambiente escolar utilizando Pocoloto - um serious game (jogo digital sério) - para o treino de memória de trabalho fonológica, que está envolvida no processo de alfabetização. Participaram 29 alunos do ensino fundamental I, divididos em grupo controle e experimental, submetidos à avaliação pré-treino, treino e avaliação pós. O treino em grupo foi realizado em dez aplicações de 45 minutos, três vezes por semana. Os resultados apontaram que, mesmo em um treino de curta duração, o game Pocoloto melhorou as habilidades de memória de trabalho fonológica das crianças. Foi também observada uma melhora no desempenho em tarefas de leitura e escrita, corroborando com os indicativos sobre a importância da memória de trabalho na aprendizagem e alfabetização. Durante o treino, o Pocoloto manteve as crianças motivadas, mesmo em uma aplicação em sala de aula, mostrando-se adequado para o contexto escolar.Downloads
