An explanatory study of Deliberative Board of Fundação Cultural Piratini Rádio e Televisão

This study investigates the Deliberative Board of Fundação Cultural Piratini Rádio e Televisão and searches its latest history, functioning and representativeness. The article analyses the relationship between state, Fundação Piratini and the Deliberative Board, interpreting its functioning through statute, structure and members. The main methodological instruments were literature review, document analysis and in-depth interview. It concludes that the Conselho Deliberativo doesn’t satisfy its purposes caused by its internal design and the political forces of relationship with executive administration of Fundação Piratini.
