The following text is proposed to make a brief analysis of the work The Ballad of Sexual Dependency, from the american photographer Nan Goldin and Caixa de Sapatos, from the brazilian collective Cia de Foto. How do these artists use photography to appropriate the everyday and which aesthetic and political implications come from these appropriations? The research aims to contribute to recent discussions on the relationship between subjectivity and contemporary photography.Downloads
