Information Science and it’s Approximation with Cognitive Sciences

Beginning with the historical development of Information Science and Cognitive Sciences, this paper aims to draw a parallel between both with the objetive of highlighting intersection points. It mention different researchers who are linked to the cognitivist approach in Information Sciences, with the objective of showing that this is the dominant theoretical approach in this field. It concludes pointing out some aspects of similarity between theory and research objects of both sciences.Downloads
