The present article discusses the analisys of surveillance proposed by Michel Foucault. Some features of modern surveillance exposed by the philosopher are analyzed and subsequently, thought regarding the configuration of contemporary society. It is a theoretical-analytical reflection on the relations between surveillance in modern society and contemporary society, which is defined by the insertion of new communication technologies, highlighting the internet.Downloads
