Cyberculture and the Lacanian discourses
Keywords:
Cyberculture. Discourses. Lacan.Abstract
Discourses, for Lacan, are the fundamental modalities of social link. He initially defines a matrix of four discourses – those of the master, university, hysteria and the analyst –, to which is added later the discourse of capitalism. This article shows how these social links can be identified in the specific context of cyberculture and how they articulate with each other in this context.
