Desde la distancia
elementos para una sociología del contacto en un contexto de pandemia

Exploramos en este texto la reconfiguración de relaciones sociales bajo la imposición del distanciamiento físico en el contexto de la pandemia del Covid-19. Específicamente, analizamos la pérdida de la dimensión háptica de las relaciones socioeróticas y la transformación sociocultural que esto conlleva. Basados en un trabajo de campo desde la distancia, exploramos cómo el cuerpo propio y el de aquellos con quienes tenemos vínculos sociales afectivos se ha vuelto siniestro, esto es, al tiempo familiar y extraño. Sostenemos, finalmente, que la suspensión momentánea del fondo común histórico y cultural de las relaciones socioafectivas permitió identificar las condiciones de posibilidad de las mismas, revelándolas no sólo como intersubjetivas sino definidas por otros agentes que determinan la ecología de dichas relaciones.
