In this research, a semi-structured questionnaire was used, which had among its purposes to draw a social profile of the public agent who is active about suicide in their workplace. According to the data obtained, a small portion of its members are unaware of the legal and support mechanisms for the Policeman who may have had a suicidal ideation, a fact that could be passed on to all staff, in order to reinforce the Institution's enormous concern with this theme. In general, it reveals the need for the strengthening of preventive actions against the incidence of this phenomenon in the scope of the military police.
