Abstract

This work aims at a meta-analysis of the empirical or theoretical-empirical articles presented at ENANPADS from 1997 to 2002. The fact that 1997 was the first year with an exclusive organizational strategy studies area accounts for the selection of this specific period. The choice of ENANPAD articles as units of analysis is due to the importance of this event to Applied Social Sciences researchers, especially Administration, as well as to executives in search of a differential for their organizations. Moreover, the increasing projection of Strategy in Administration is noteworthy. The study is descriptive, giving a descriptive statistic treatment to collected (secondary) data, and having as units of analysis empirical or theoretical-empirical articles in the Organizational Strategy Area, presented at ENANPADS from 1997 to 2002. Abstracts, methodology, results and conclusions are the units of analysis.
