This is a performative experiment/conference aimed at questioning the limits, both the magisterial territory of the conference and the expressive habitus already established around performance. Neither one thing nor the other, therefore. Just a sound event in the shape of a conference. And, therefore, an irreverence that appears more as a challenge we set ourselves to be capable of indeterminating the horizons of our work and of how we can distance ourselves from those disciplinary devices that advise us to trust only in what can be reproduced ad eternum. A sound weaning. This is our necessary difficulty: to be capable of a certain courtesy with the world, in the form of a conference and performative event – an uncertain and eventful place for a more intimate experience between concept, meaning, sound, form and thought – and that sets in motion a vital dialogue with it and with a community that is arriving but has not yet appeared.
