How to organize a scientific event, from its organizational bases, democratic, horizontal and collaborative? What is the role of congresses and similar events in contemporary Art/Education? How to outline issues so that they do not close, but allow for the expansion of dialogues for the (re)invention of art/educational practices? This work, written by four hands, aims to present the process of organizing and carrying out the International Meeting of Art/Education: enREDE research groups, held at the Institute of Arts/Unesp, in December 2023 and which had as one of its purposes to debate problems in the fields of teaching and research in Art/Education and its object of teaching in dialogue with issues of our current society, from an anticolonial perspective.
