Abstract

Fear inhabits the sensitive and abstract domains of social reality. Like a figure, subtly reveals its features in different contexts, sometimes in shared narrative constructions, or subjective perceptions about space and time. In 2018 fear has played a central hole in the context of the Brazilian presidential elections as a political method of population management. In this essay, we show some of the features of fear that leave traces through the streets and walls of the city of Porto Alegre with images of urban interventions in the public space after the elections.
