This article aims to offer a discussion about the different times of play in the past that are made up in the present: playing at school, vigilant and controlling where the game of strategies versus tactics prevailed, and free play in a relationship of child-nature complicity. Antagonistic 'plays' were directed sometimes by Chrónos and sometimes by Aion. Different times, however, complemented each other. This is qualitative research of a historical nature that is used as a resource for historical testimonies of migrants from Sinop-MT and photographs. The intention is to foster the discussion of the cultural production of childhood within the scope of the theoretical reflections of Michel de Certeau allied to the poetry of Manoel de Barros.
