Interfaces between Evaluation and History Curriculum at High School

In this article, it is presented the results of a research that investigated the bases of the Programa de Avaliação da Aprendizagem Escolar (PAAE - Program for the Evaluation of School Learning), in the State of Minas Gerais, identifying the way the adopted test items fulfill the announced pedagogical objectives, and the implications of this program in the History curriculum at High School. The methodology used was the analysis of PAAE documents, between 2005 and 2015, of the content of curricular grids, and of test items in the tests created by the program, besides a bibliographical research. The results have indicated a contradiction between the announcement of the innovative character of the items used as pedagogical resources to evaluate the skills and abilities and the hegemonic presence of traditional matters in the tests designed for the program to the detriment of the announced formation modality.Downloads
