O encontro das linhas: cidade de Aracaju e grupos escolares (1914-1925)

Este artigo desvela aspectos da história da educação e os inter-relaciona com a cidade, suas tramas e estratégias de circulação e ocupação do espaço urbano para, a partir dessas linhas, perceber a cidade e seus condicionantes que se entreteceram na estruturação e institucionalização da escola pública primária, na modalidade Grupo Escolar. Aracaju nasceu em 1855, cidade-capital, para escoar, via porto, a produção do açúcar, cidade projetada em quadrícula xadrez onde os instrumentos normativos impuseram obrigações para o controle da ordem e criação da identidade de cidade moderna. Nossa contribuição se faz através do desenho, com a geração de novos registros do processo evolutivo e, assim os convidamos para este encontro.Downloads
