CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA A HISTÓRIA DO ENSINO PRIMÁRIO NA DÉCADA DE 30 DO SÉCULO XX, EM PORTUGAL

Neste artigo pretende-se analisar um manuscrito original, redigido em 1935 por uma professora de uma escola primária de Portugal, com o propósito de investigar a problemática em torno do uso do ditado e da redação no ensino da Língua Materna, as suas metodologias e práticas de ensino, bem como os meios e recursos utilizados no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem.
Atendendo à metodologia escolhida (histórica e hermenêutica) identificámos as seguintes categorias de análise que nortearam esta investigação: as metodologias, estratégias, meios e recursos de ensino.
As principais conclusões deste estudo mostram que a prática de ensino era suportada por uma visão inovadora e muito atual da pedagogia, revelando uma proximidade considerável aos autores e correntes ligadas à educação nova.
