Relação universidade e reforma protestante: concepções sobre a relação e a influência
Abstract
O texto procura mostrar a relação existente entre a universidade na Europa e a Reforma Protestante. Constatam-se duas principais interpretações: de um lado, o entendimento de que houve uma relação e contribuição recíproca, para o avanço e progresso de ambas. Do outro lado, a compreensão de que o resultado foi negativo e resultou na decadência da educação superior. A luz dos trabalhos sobre o assunto e os textos de Lutero, chamados Obras selecionadas, conclui-se que houve uma reto-influência e contribuição. A evasão e retração de alunos das faculdades no início da Reforma não foi em razão da negação da intelectualidade.

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to show the relationship that exists between the european university and protestant reformation. One can perceive two main interpretations: on one side, the understanding that there was really a relationship and a reciprocal contribution to the advance and the progress of both. On the other side, the comprehension that the results were negative and have resulted on the decadence of high education. Under the light of literature, mainly Luthero texts named selected papers on may conclude that there was a background influence and contribution. Evasion and retraction of university on the beginning of the reformation were not due to the negation of intellectuality.
