Um exemplo de pesquisa sobre a história de uma disciplina escolar: a história ensinada no século XVII
Abstract
ResumoPartindo de uma breve análise das condições, nas quais se estabeleceram as visões (divergentes) do surgimento da disciplina escolar história, em curso hoje na historiografia francesa, este artigo propõe-se recolocar a questão na longa duração, remontando os colégios de humanidades do Antigo Regime, mostrando que a própria noção de disciplina escolar não é pertinente para descrever seu ensino, analisando certas transformações (sócio-políticas, técnicas, culturais...) que conduziram a constituição da história como matéria autônoma de ensino para as elites no fim do século XVII.

Résumé
Partant d’une brève analyse des conditions dans lesquelles se sont mises en place les visions (divergentes) de l’apparition de la discipline scolaire histoire qui ont cours aujourd’hui dans l’historiographie française, cet article se propose de replacer la question dans la longue durée en remontant aux collèges d’humanités de l’Ancien Régime et en montrant que la notion même de discipline scolaire n’est pas pertinente pour décrire leur enseignement, puis en survolant certaines des transformations (socio-politiques, techniques, culturelles…) qui ont abouti à la constitution de l’histoire en matière autonome d’enseignement pour les élites à la fin du XVIIe siècle.
