Abstract

Resumo

Este trabalho analisa como funcionam e como mudam as estruturas administrativas da instrução pública em seus processos de disciplinamento da infância no limiar da República (final do século XIX) com base em documentos da Diretoria de Instrução Pública da Província de São Pedro do Rio Grande do Sul. Discute-se a diferenciação de níveis de escolas, a organização do tempo escolar, a diferenciação por idade e a diferenciação por gênero.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the way how the administrative structures of public instruction work and how they change, in their processes of disciplination of infancy at the at art of the Republic (end of the 19th century), based on documents of the Direction of Public Instruction of the Province of São Pedro do Rio Grande do Sul. We discuss the differentiation of levels of schools, the organization of the scholar time, the differentiation by age and the differentiation by gender.
