Nos últimos anos, pesquisas e acervos de história da educação receberam contribuições inestimáveis das mídias digitais, especialmente após a generalização da internet, configurando um panorama de acesso a fontes e documentos jamais vislumbrado no passado. Ao cotejar pesquisas, acervos e diversos sítios de instituições que conservam fontes e documentos relativos à história da educação, o presente artigo aponta formas e possibilidades de pesquisa na área, assim como limites e desafios, tentando articular, no próprio texto, alguns recursos digitais.

ARCHIVES AND RESEARCH IN THE HISTORY OF EDUCATION: FROM THE TIME OF “VITRINES DO PROGRESSO” TO THE CHALLENGE OF DIGITAL PRESERVATION
Abstract
Researches and archives of the history of education have been lately receiving a priceless contribution from digital media, mainly after the spread of the internet, which allowed an access to sources of information and documents without a precedent in history. Comparing researches, archives and many sites from institutions that keep information regarding the history of education, the present study suggests some possibilities and how to conduct researches in this area, as well as its limits and challenges, trying to articulate, in the text itself, some digital media.

Résumé
Les années dernières, des recherches et des archives de l’histoire de l’éducation ont reçu des contributions inestimables du média digital, spécialment après la généralisation de l’internet, em configurant un panorama d’accès à des sources et des documents qu’on a jamais entrevus au passe. En confrontant des recherches, des archives et plusieurs sites d’institutions qui gardent des sources et des documents à l’égard de l’histoire de l’éducation, cet article-ci indique des formes et des possibilites de recherche sur lê sujet, ainsi que des limites et des défis, en essayant d’articuler, dans le texte même, quelques resources digitaux.
