O presente texto refere-se, em particular, a uma festividade escolar denominada Festa da Árvore, que teve o seu apogeu nos primeiros anos da 1.ª República Portuguesa, e que era festejada nas escolas primárias. A análise do nosso estudo restringiu-se à área geográfica do Barreiro, localidade situada na margem sul do rio Tejo em frente de Lisboa.

SCHOOL FEASTS: THE FEAST OF THE TREE AT BARREIRO
Abstract
This paper intends to describe and analyse the importance of a school feast named Festa da Árvore (Feast of the Tree) that used to be celebrated in primary schools particularly during the Portuguese First Republic. In the present study the analysis was restricted to the geographical area of Barreiro, a city located in front of Lisbon, on the south border of river Tagus.

El presente texto se refiere, particularmente, a una festividad escolar denominada Fiesta del Árbol, que tuvo su apogeo durante los primeros años de la Primera República portuguesa y era festejada en las escuelas primarias. El análisis de nuestro estudio se restringió al área geográfica de Barreiro, localidad situada en la margen sur del rioTejo, enfrente de Lisboa.

Ce texte-ci rapporte, particulèrement, à une festivité scolaire dénominée Fête de l'arbre, qui a eu son apogée dans les premières années de lá 1ére Republique Portugaise et qui était fête dnas les écoles primaires. L'analyse de notre étude s'est limitée à la surface géográphique Du Barreiro, localité située à la rive sud du Tejo, en face de Lisbonne.
