MARC BLOCH AND HIS CONTRIBUTION TO RESEARCH IN THE HISTORY OF EDUCATIONM INGLÊS -
Abstract
The article presents the contributions of Marc Bloch's thought in the early years of the founding of the Annales School, and his work in the search for the elevation of history to the category of scientific knowledge. His investigations were fundamental for the consolidation of a new methodology in History research, initiating a renewal in the field of historiography as we currently understand it and, at the same time, opening space for other areas of knowledge, such as the History of Education, will benefit from your innovations. The path he presented transformed the concept of history that existed until that moment, in addition to giving new meaning to the role of the historian in his research work, expanding the use and interpretation of the sources used in his investigations. Since Bloch, the way in which knowledge is produced has undergone significant changes that have spread across all research work, especially in the History of Education.
