GÉNERO Y EDUCACIÓN A PARTIR DE UN INCIDENTE ENTRE DOS COLEGIOS DE ENSEÑANZA MEDIA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE LA PLATA (ARGENTINA, 1928)
Abstract
The repercussions of an incident in September 1928 among the students of the Colegio Nacional and the female students of the Colegio Secundario de Señoritas, dependent institutions of the National University of La Plata, are analyzed from a critical gender perspective. This is produced from the approach of newspaper articles and minutes of the Superior Council of that house of studies. The research allows to account for certain meanings transmitted by the University around correct and incorrect ways of being a man and a woman, within the framework of a secondary education differentiated by "sex", in a national context of exercise by the women of incomplete citizenship. It shows, then, the existence of unequal power relations in favor of men.
