Ari Cunha e as críticas ao sistema de ensino de Brasília na coluna Visto, Lido e Ouvido (Correio Braziliense, 1960-1965)
Abstract
Tomando como fonte o jornal Correio Braziliense, mais especificamente a coluna “Visto, Lido e Ouvido”, da autoria do jornalista Ari Cunha, o artigo tem por objetivo analisar as críticas nela veiculadas ao sistema de ensino de Brasília entre os anos de 1960 a 1965. Ao interrogar a coluna em questão, foi possível observar os impasses enfrentados no processo de implantação do sistema de ensino na capital federal: problemas relacionados ao financiamento do ensino; a falta de merenda escolar nos primeiros anos de funcionamento das escolas; os obstáculos ao provimento material dos escolares numa cidade ainda em formação; o surgimento da necessidade do transporte escolar; a implantação desigual do sistema de ensino no Bairro da Asa Norte e a instabilidade da condição docente na cidade.
