La educación política de la infancia en el contexto de la expropiación petrolera en México (1938-1940)

En este artículo analizo la educación política que el estado cardenista fomentó entre la infancia escolarizada alrededor de la expropiación petrolera ocurrida en 1938 en México. El estado cardenista, a través de los programas escolares configurados en torno a la expropiación petrolera, no sólo llevó los eventos políticos al aula partiendo del supuesto de que niños y niñas tenían toda la capacidad de comprender el conflicto petrolero y que incluso era su obligación estar al tanto de lo que implicaba, sino que invitó a los escolares a tomar un papel protagónico y activo en las discusiones políticas nacionales, los incitó a emitir sus opiniones y convertirse en activistas políticos. Esto da cuenta de que la participación infantil lejos de ser una característica inherente a las infancias es una acción ideológica, histórica y culturalmente situada.
