Um olhar sobre a educação dos sentidos e das sensibilidades caipiras no contexto do êxodo rural durante a segunda metade do século XX

Abstract

Due to the rural exodus of the 20th century, most of the Brazilian population moved to the cities. One of the groups that experienced this process was the caipira, who, whether due to migration or the modernization of the countryside, saw their culture clash with new cultures. To investigate these clashes, we analyzed lyrics from songs by Tião Carreiro and Pardinho, a duo of caipira origin, with the aim of identifying clues present in these productions that allow us to reflect on the process of educating sensibilities and translating caipira identity. Based on these cultural shocks, it is understood that there was a process of educating sensibilities on the part of the caipira population that led to the production of a translated caipira identity, as these individuals kept inherited habits, but took on elements imposed by the conditions they encountered.
