Saúde Mental na Atenção Básica: Dividir ou Somar Apoios Matriciais? / Mental Health in Primary Health Care: Should Matrix Support Be Added or Split?

Com o presente ensaio pretende-se discutir a relação entre as Equipes de Saúde Mental (EqSMs) e os Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASFs) para o cuidado em saúde mental na Atenção Básica (AB) de Belo Horizonte/MG. A discussão se baseia na recuperação de fragmentos históricos da implementação das ações em saúde mental no município e na experiência dos autores. São evidenciados impasses e desafios relacionados à manutenção das EqSMs, lotadas na AB mesmo depois da implantação dos NASFs, o que caracteriza exceção no cenário nacional. A existência de psicólogos em ambas as equipes colabora para a existência de conflitos quanto à divisão de clientela, o que pode resultar em encaminhamento entre elas e em dificuldade de acesso aos cuidados em saúde mental. É indicada a necessidade de diálogo entre essas diferentes estratégias matriciais, reforçando que a discussão dos processos de trabalho é prevista no próprio método de apoio.
