Abstract
This writing aims to share experiences in the context of public health, by listening to children and adolescents suspected of sexual violence, attended in a pediatric emergency department of a public hospital in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The goal is to deepen the analysis of the care provided by the multidisciplinary team, intertwining fictional narratives with elements of scientific literature and current legislation on the topic of sexual violence against children and adolescents. The encounter with the field produced questions and reflections on clinical practice and the provision of care for children and adolescents who arrived at the referral hospital for such care. The experience shows us that transforming experiences into written and shared words is a way to create openings where inventive possibilities reside, and that the composition of multidisciplinary work and continuing education are essential for the comprehensive care of children and adolescents who are victims of violence.
