This study discusses and analyzes Emergency Remote Teaching from the perspective of adopting pedagogical models in course curricula in the STEM area. The goal of this work is to identify components in order to define a hybrid pedagogical model to guide teachers in the development of technology-mediated education. This is an exploratory and descriptive research, which collected data from Higher Education Institutions, and carried out an analysis using the Thematic Analysis approach. The results showed how Institutions adapted to the limitations imposed by COVID-19, having identified four guiding principles for the establishment of a hybrid pedagogical model that can be used in crisis situations.
