O ciclo da desinformação em plataformas digitais

Este artigo exploratório propõe um modelo trifásico para compreender a trajetória da desinformação em plataformas digitais: criação, disseminação e recirculação. A partir de revisão de literatura, análise exploratória de casos e contribuições teóricas contemporâneas, argumenta-se que a recirculação – tradicionalmente marginalizada nas análises – constitui um estágio estruturante da longevidade e adaptabilidade da desinformação. Baseado no redirecionamento do conceito de recirculação originalmente formulado por Zago, o estudo evidencia como conteúdos desinformativos são reformulados, emocionalmente ressignificados e continuamente reintroduzidos em circuitos comunicacionais digitais. Algoritmos de recomendação, práticas culturais de compartilhamento e a erosão da autoridade epistêmica das instituições tradicionais compõem um ecossistema que favorece a persistência simbólica da falsidade. Argumenta-se que a recirculação não apenas amplia o alcance da desinformação, mas a transforma em artefato discursivo dinâmico, resistente a estratégias convencionais de checagem. Conclui-se que o enfrentamento da desinformação exige abordagens sistêmicas, capazes de considerar sua circulação prolongada, natureza performativa e capacidade de adaptação contextual.
