The Sitting Journalist and On-Line News Making in CorreioWEb

This paper makes a study of on-line news production and its impact on constructing the journalist professional identity. The analysis was structured by applying the French concept of journaliste assis or sitting journalist. The object researched was the productive routine of the CorreioWEb and the way in which the sites journalist relates with public, information sources and other media. By the end it was possible to rank on-line journalism as a new professional status.Downloads
