Keywords:
Media. Mediatization. Political communication. Midiacracy.Abstract
The contemporary democratic system is largely influenced by the presence and the action of the media. The media is an indispensable condition for contemporary democracies in its various fields, acessing their languages and technologies, in all its breadth and different features, to make them indispensable, in what is called the mediatization of the society. This process of mediatization puts the media as a condition for democratic political processes. Insofar as it is through the media networks that issues are negotiable and processes from other fields are tensioned, media influences all the resolutions that are necessary for the development and for the support of the social and democratic logic. Thus, the media shows up as a fundamental element of contemporary politics and democracy.Downloads
