Netspeak as a way of expression in the conquest of the present
Keywords:
Netspeak. Virtual language. Imaginary daily life.Abstract
The internet brought about a new communication dynamic that continues to divide opinions. On one side, there are those that defend the inclusion of innovative practices within conversation while others who critisize what they call a deformation of the language. As part of this discussion, this reflection aims to understand, trough a socio-anthropological-cultural bias, why the language assumes certain settings in the virtual environment. Consider the characteristics of orality present in the personal pages of internet users, but in the light of a reading maffesoliana, one sees the manifestation of an imaginary dimension that reinforces the sense of belonging and identification of internet users in their groups or networks of interation.Downloads
