The aim of this study is to understand how the active professional of physical education within the gym scope conceives and deals with aging himself, as well as investigate possible relations with regard to aging, the body and the labor market for gym. Semi-structured interviews were used as the instrument to collect data. Quit being young and healthy model admired within the gyms is negative to these professionals, who seek the knowledge acquired in the profession cover up stereotypes associated with aging. Thereby, they believe increase the chances of remaining in the market.
