Abstract

Introduction: Primary Health Care (PHC) is the fundamental scenario for the development of integrated health actions and strengthening of the Unified Health System (SUS). The Institutional Support Network for Qualification and Management Matrix of the SUS (REAP QUALI) Project, with a focus on regionalization, seeks to strengthen performance in important areas, including immunization and pharmaceutical assistance. Objective: To report the experience of the process of facilitating the institutional support of PHC and pharmaceutical services in the qualification workshop held with PHC immunization coordinators from the municipalities of the 1st and 14th Regional Health Management of Paraíba (PB) during the Specialization course in Institutional and Matrix Support at the School of Public Health of Paraíba. Experience report: The experience consists of a descriptive experience report, collective planning, with a detailed program that illustrated the organization of the workshop and the steps followed during its execution. It took place at the School of Public Health of Paraíba, João Pessoa, Brazil, in September 2024, with the participation of 19 professionals from 11 of the 25 municipalities. It was structured in a participatory and collaborative way, promoting welcoming dynamics, technical discussions on the new Temperature Excursion Occurrence Form (FOET-UF) and analysis of clinical cases in groups. The interactive and dialogical methodology favored the exchange of experiences and the collective construction of knowledge, promoting positive changes in the work processes. Conclusion: The experience highlighted the importance of co-management and strengthening of immunization practices. He also emphasized the need for collaboration between the thematic axes of the REAP QUALI/PB project and the training of professionals for integrated work, emphasizing the value of institutional support in PHC.
