Resumo

The gaming industry continues to grow, with an increasing number of children and young people engaging with digital games. Research shows that games can make learning more engaging and enjoyable, though few succeed in combining fun with moral and ethical growth. This article presents insights from the development of an educational game prototype for students aged 8 to 14, centered on values such as sustainability, responsible consumption, respect, and peace. Using the Design Science Research approach, the study gathered data through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The results provide insights into what makes a game effective for ethical education and how to design such games from conception to evaluation, addressing a topic of growing global relevance.
