CREATION OF MINI BI (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE) TO SUPPORT THE RESTRUCTURING OF THE CURRICULAR OFFER OF UNDERGRADUATE PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSES AT A FEDERAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION IN THE POST COVID-19 ERA
Abstract
The return of face-to-face classes in 2022, following the COVID-19 pandemic, has posed a challenge for educational institutions in formulating plans to reduce the impact on academic life. Thus, an alternative was sought to help solve the problem by adopting information systems to develop educational data management strategies. The aim of the research was to create a mini BI (Business Intelligence) to help with the scheduling of classes for the Physical Education degree courses at IFSULDEMINAS-Campus Muzambinho. The methodology used was CRISP-DM, which consisted of six stages carried out in two cycles, providing managers with tables and dashboards for scheduling classes with the same number of teachers and providing course coordinators with the necessary data in relation to the number of students and the type of class relevant to them. Given the volume of data analyzed, the solution helped the institution's managers make quicker and more assertive decisions about the courses on offer in 2022.
