Abstract

The organizations are inserted in a context of great competitiveness and of fast changes, involving, therefore, the ability in working with great and complex subjects. The courses in Administration suffer with the shortage of practical classes that would make possible a better understanding of the relationship between the theory and the reality of the market. In this context, the development of methodological strategies that space besides the traditional teaching contributed to the appearance of a teaching methodology based in the living practice, that is the Simulated Company. The main objective of a simulation is to provide to the participant a real situation so that it can make decisions before the problems that appear in elapsing of the operation and like this, to feel the consequences of their actions. Given to the relevance of the living practice for the teaching in Administration, the objective of this work was to analyze and to describe the model SEBRAE of Simulate Company through the understanding of your structure and operation as well as the students' perception in relation to your effectiveness. Data was gathered by questionnaires and interviews with a sample with the different segments involved in the project. As a result, the investigation corroborated the effectiveness of this model as a teaching method and its contributions for the business courses learning processes. The variables yielded decent results ensuring the importance of the simulated company method for the qualification of future professionals.
