Antecedentes do aprendizado a partir do erro no local de trabalho
Abstract
The aim of this work is to propose and test a model of learning from errors and their antecedents, considering constructs such as inclusive leadership, psychological safety, support context and self-efficacy from the individual perspective, within the organizational environment. A quantitative approach was adopted, with a sample of 242 individuals who work in organizations, under hierarchical leadership. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling. The results indicated positive relationships between inclusive leadership and self-efficacy with learning from errors, and between supportive context with psychological safety. The relation between psychological safety and learning from errors, as well as the moderating effect of self-efficacy were not confirmed. One explanation for this result was the high score of this sample on the APE scale (median at the top of the scale), which resulted in low variability. Therefore, for future research, specifying in more detail which types of errors should be considered (more serious errors) can reduce the APE score, increase its variability and the predictive power of its antecedents.
Keywords: Learning from errors. Inclusive leadership. Psychological safety. Self-efficacy.
