Fatores associados à adoção de tecnologia no setor agropecuário
Abstract
This article aimed to investigate the factors associated with the adoption of technology in the agricultural sector. Two databases and 18 articles were selected for the systematic review. The analyzes made it possible to group the technologies used on rural properties in the categories of automation and computerization, weed and pest control and those that promote Sustainable Intensification (SI). The results of the studies show that the main factors that contribute to the process of technology adoption in the agricultural sector are related to the participation of rural producers in collective organizations, the producer's level of education, access to technical assistance services and credit, the presence of technological equipment on the rural property and its size. In this way, it was possible to elaborate a conceptual framework that attributes the process of technology adoption in the agricultural sector to a multidimensional and complex phenomenon, suggesting the development of educational and sectorial public policies (incentive to the formation of formal and informal collective organizations, technical assistance and credit) for the promotion of technological diffusion in the countries.
