A vantagem competitiva das empresas cleantechs e o desenvolvimento de capacidades dinâmicas utilizando internet das coisas
Abstract
Cleantech companies (Cleantechs) use different technologies to develop solutions and market innovations. Among these technologies, the IoT (Internet of Things) stands out for enabling the automation of processes and the creation of capabilities and solutions that differentiate the business models of these companies and can generate market advantages. The research question of this work is “How does the IoT drive the development of dynamic capabilities to obtain a competitive advantage in Cleantech companies?”. The objective is to present a model for developing dynamic capabilities through IoT to obtain a competitive advantage in Cleantech companies. The methodological course included the realization of a qualitative research of descriptive nature. 22 interviews were carried out, represented by 17 Cleantech companies. The theoretical lenses used were: IoT, Dynamic Capabilities and Competitive Advantage. The results indicate that IoT can minimize transaction costs in the process of adapting products and services, increase the predictability of uncertainties and risks, in addition to promoting agility in organizations. The work presents as a scientific contribution a model that demonstrates how the development of dynamic capabilities via IoT occurs for competitive market advantage.
