Abstract

As consequence of the process of capitalist restructuring, the rational-bureaucratic model of administration doesn't assist more the complexity of the existent relationships between organization and context. This way, the nets appear as one of the new organizational formats to assist to the expectations of a market with different demands, sharing resources, information and knowledge. In that scenery, appear the broker, intermediate agent in the construction of new business nets appears. This work intends to identify the advantages that the participant companies of a retail net of supermarkets can obtain associating to a net with a mark pattern that acts as a broker, presenting an exploratory study on the contributions of the concepts and models of organizational nets in the RedeSmart, in the state of Paraíba, that possesses this format of performance. The results demonstrate the advantages in that new way of performance, presented in three dimensions that were analyzed: 1) services offered by the broker to the associated retailers; 2) competitive capacity of the associated companies and; 3) aspects of the administration in the net. The conclusions of the work indicate the importance of the adoption of that new format for the retailers, presenting the advantages and the possibilities of earnings for the members that compose the net.
