Somatic Approaches of the Body in Dance
Keywords:
Body, Soma, Dance, Somatic Approaches, Movement,Abstract
Somatic Education is understood as an interdisciplinary field that is concerned with the awareness of the body and its motion and proposes a personal discovery of their own movements, their own feelings. This article aims to propose a reflection through notes on the concept of Somatic Education and Soma Body, highlighting two approaches to somatic practices which are incorporated to the current practices theme into vogue as possible ways to think about the field study in dance. It is based on a phenomenological approach guided by the studies of Merleau-Ponty (1999), using the Merleau-pontyan description as the research technique.
