This article presents a project conducted with students of a master’s degree in Primary Education. A visual diary was designed to cultivate structured thinking through images and children’s creativity. In this project, the students created teaching materials for the Practicum subject, a practical teaching internship taken in schools. The focus of this initiative was to design a visual diary to facilitate second language learning (English), while also working through a multidisciplinary approach and promoting visual and textual language and enriched education from an early age. Furthermore, the project involved postgraduate Fine Art students who designed educational cards for preschool children. The configuration of images and texts is related to the imaginary world of children and includes synthesised shapes and interrelated text that form part of their visual culture. In addition, this project explores synthesising information through other visual media, such as symbols and icons.Downloads
