The article discusses the legitimation and contestation of the right to speak in a facebook group, which was created during the referendum about the division of Pará. After contextualizing the case, the group under analysis and the methods used, the article analyzes the group’s speeches, thus establishing a relation between the legitimacy of speakers and two theoretical discussions: (1) the tendency of emergence, in the internet, of like-minded communities; and (2) current debates around the concept of representation.Downloads
