Abstract
Resumo
A emigração activa a multiculturalidade e com ela a globalização das ideias que não se verifica só nos locais de acolhimento, mas também no local de retorno do emigrante. Este é o ponto de partida do estudo da influência das ideias pedagógicas do Rio Grande do Sul do século XIX numa pequena aldeia portuguesa e da sua difusão pelo exemplo em Portugal no arranque do seu sistema de ensino primário.

Abstract
Emigration starts many multicultural movements and also leads ideas to globalisation not only in the point of arrival but also in the local of departure, when the emigrant returns. This is the central idea of a study about influence in XIX century of Rio Grande do Sul pedagogic ideas on a small village in Portugal and his diffusion by example in the Portuguese school primary system take-over.
