O mundo como texto: leituras da história e da literatura
Abstract
O texto discute as aproximações e os distanciamentos entre a História e a Literatura a partir da História Cultural, desde uma abordagem epistemológica a uma outra que trabalha a Literatura como uma fonte para a História. São discutidas questões como a ficção, a veracidade e a verossimilhança. Aborda ainda, como exemplo, uma possibilidade de enfoque do século 19 a partir da Literatura para o resgate das razões e sensibilidades que presidiram a construção das representações sobre o mundo.

Abstract
Grounded on a Cultural History point of view, the text discusses closenesses and distances between History and Literature, shifting from this epistemological approach to another that takes Literature as a source to History. Questions as fiction, veracity and verisimilitude are discussed. It also considers, as an example, the possibility to focus the nineteenth century based on its Literature, in order to retrieve the reasons and sensibilities that mastered the construction or world representations.
