Este artigo traz à cena parte da história da Associação do Professorado Catharinense, criada no final do século XIX, em Santa Catarina. Com base nos estudos de Nóvoa (1991, 2006), toma a organização de associações profissionais como um estágio na consolidação da profissão docente. Utilizando-se da metodologia historiográfica, foram selecionados os seguintes jornais: A Regeneração, Do Comércio e Conservador, que auxiliam na composição de parte da história do associativismo docente em Santa Catarina.Downloads
