Historiadores e acervos: uma relação de fato, mas não de direito
Abstract
O presente texto, em forma de relato de experiência, busca problematizar a questão da profissão do historiador, principalmente no que concerne à sua atuação junto aos acervos históricos. As atividades que envolvem a constituição, organização e disponibilização de acervos têm sido, não raras vezes, exerci das por profissionais licenciados ou bacharéis em História, cuja formação não contempla as habilidades necessárias para a referida atuação. O relato da experiência da autora junto ao Memorial Sogipa visa a elucidar alguns dos problemas que historiadores enfrentam no trabalho com acervos.

Abstract
The present text, as a experience report, aims to discuss the matter of historian profession, concerning the actuation of such professional in historical documentary collections. The activities related to constitution, organization and disposal of documentary collections have been, in many cases, exercised by licensed professionals or bachelors in History, whose academicals knowledge do not provide the requested skills for such activities. The author's experience report in the Sogipa Memorial aims to elucidate some of the problems that historians face in their work in documentary collections.
