A criação da Seção Pelotense da Associação Brasileira de Educação (ABE) e suas primeiras ações no campo educacional

O presente artigo expõe alguns resultados da pesquisa O Movimento da Escola Nova e seus desdobramentos na Região Sul do Rio Grande do Sul, desenvolvida junto ao Centro de Estudos e Investigações em História da Educação (CEIHE-FaE/UFPel). Neste trabalho enfocamos o processo de criação da Seção Pelotense da ABE, em 1926, e suas principais ações em âmbito local. Baseadas em notícias veiculadas no jornal pelotense Diário Popular, apresentamos alguns dados que mostram a fase de estruturação e o começo da atuação da Sessão Pelotense da ABE. Em seguida analisamos a participação da Seção Pelotense na 1ª Conferência Nacional de Educação realizada em Curitiba, em 1927.

Abstact
This article exposes some results about the research " the movement of the New School and its consequences on South region of Rio Grande do Sul, developed in conjunction with the Center of Studies and Investigation on History’s education (CEIHE – Fae/Ufpel). In this work we emphasized the process of creation of the ABE´S Pelotas session, in 1926, and its main actions in the region. Based on news published on the town’s newspaper called Diario Popular, at firstwe present some data that show the structuration stage and the beginning of the actuation of the Pelotas Session of the ABE. Next that we analyzed the participation of Pelotas Session in the1st Education’s National Conference happened in Curitiba, at 1927.
